Course Programme

As part of this year's Scottish Archaeology Month the Penicuik House Project will be offering the chance to tour the ruin with our project archaeologist Jenni Morrison. Come along and learn about the techniques used in buildings’ archaeology and how these can help us to better understand old buildings.

At Penicuik House these discoveries are being used to help the architects to make important decisions about how the ruin will finally be presented to the public.

The tour will begin at 1.30 in the Penicuik House Training Centre where a DVD will be shown to give an introduction to the project. Jenni will then lead a tour of the ruin lasting approximately 1 hour.

Places are limited so booking is essential.
