Scott

We are delighted and honoured to announce that our Principal Trainer, Scott MacAskill has received a Certificate of Excellence from The Radcliffe Trust to mark his exceptional merit in crafts.  The certificate has been signed by the Chairman of the Radcliffe Trust, Felix Warnock and by the long serving trustee, Lord Balfour of Burleigh. The Radcliffe Trust are one of the oldest charities in the UK, established in 1714 and support Heritage and Crafts, indeed the Scottish Lime Centre Trust (SLCT) has benefitted from their grant support in the past and are very grateful to have received such funding. Some of you may know Scott MacAskill, he started out as one of the first stonemason apprentices taken on by the SLCT back in 2006 and came back into the SLCT fold in 2010 as our Principal Trainer and  devising and running the majority of our practical, hands-on courses. Well done Scott!
