As part of the Conservation Regeneration/Townscape Heritage Initiative Scheme currently running in Cupar, an exciting range of practical courses are being run to increase the skills of those working on traditional buildings in the area. The training will give those who work on or own a traditional building the knowledge and skills required to maintain and repair older buildings and structures.
This training is subsidised and represents a fantastic opportunity to increase your skills.
The range of training available includes opportunities for
- Builders and contractors looking to increase business, branch out into repair and restoration and assure clients of their skills.
- Homeowners looking to repair and maintain their traditional buildings and know they are doing the ‘right thing’.
- Those looking to gain new skills in construction or considering a career change into the traditional trades.
Courses running include: Making & Using Traditional Mortars C1 - Contractor Level 1, Surface Repair of Stone, Sash & Case Window Repairs and Traditional Roof Work.
To book a place on any of these courses, please see our course calendar, email - firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call on 01383 872722.
