This seminar will consider the options available when stone replacement or indenting is required and attendees will gain an understanding of best practice and the analysis process in regards to specifying suitable matching stone.
Often a suitable match for existing stone isn’t available or stone replacement can prove to be out with available budgets and in these cases surface repairs can be considered as an alternative. In the past, stone repairs have received a bad name through the use of inappropriate materials and the poor execution of repairs. This seminar will discuss the case for well executed surface repairs undertaken with the correct materials to provide a low impact, low intervention solution.
Come and have a go at a surface repair yourself and see how with the right materials and techniques can equal minimum intervention and maximum conservation! Click here to download PDF copy of the course description (39.3 KB)
